Harrogate Neighbours Community Hub

A One Stop shop for our Community Questions. In June 2024 we open the doors to our new Community Hub, an accessible and welcoming space for people of all ages to seek help and friendship.

A welcoming space in Starbeck, open to everyone across the Harrogate District and beyond, offering well-being support, social opportunities, and signposting to local resources, including digital help and financial guidance. We run events focused on mental well-being, learning, and digital skills, and encourage the community to tell us what they need. While we can’t have all the answers, we are committed to listening and working to meet the needs of our community.

Your space

A place where you can pop in and say hello, have a cup of tea and a slice of cake, and ask for any help you may need.

Spread across 2 floors, there is space for 6 tables, a small café area, as well as remote working locations, a sharing library and a local noticeboard.

Our main purpose is to help people find out what they need to know, and we do this by collecting a range of local information within the space, as well as hosting guest speakers,  holding events, running drop in sessions and more.

We will signpost people to local charities, services and opportunities available to them, to ensure that when help is needed, we find the answers.

We also welcome people who just want a warm place to go to meet friends for a cup of tea without having to spend a fortune. We run an affordable café space where we charge reasonable prices for those little treats.

The Hub can be found at 16 High Street, Starbeck, Harrogate, HG2 7HY, and is normally open between 10am and 4pm.
