How can your business help

Corporate Social Responsibility describes the obligations that responsible and caring businesses have to the community. Companies are encouraged to make positive contributions to charitable causes.

At Harrogate Neighbours, we are always looking for new businesses to partner with and form mutually beneficial relationships. As a business you can fundraise in a number of ways and really make a difference to the lives of local people.

Here are some suggestions:

  • Nominate us as your Charity of the Year
  • Sponsor one of our events
  • Payroll giving
  • Donate a gift
  • Matched funding for employee fundraising
  • Employee fundraising events

By affiliating your business with a charity it can provide many benefits. It shows your clients and potential clients that you are a socially responsible company and it can be a good way of getting free media exposure. Employees enjoy knowing that they are giving something back to their community, and involving them in organising events can help develop their skills, and demonstrate new strengths. It can also be a great opportunity for team building amongst your colleagues.

If you are interested in partnering with us, sponsoring one of our events or arranging a fundraising event in your business then please get in touch. We can provide collection tins and branded materials and come into your business to talk to your employees about the work we do for the local community.
